Dream Herald - by Lilla

In his work entitled *Sacred clowns* Tony Hillerman writes ~ *.... This business of hozho. The way I understand it ... I’ll use an example. Terrible drought, crops dead, sheep dying. Spring dried out. No water. The Hopi, or the Christian, maybe the Moslem, they pray for rain. The Navajo has the proper ceremony done to restore himself to harmony with the drought. You see what I mean. The system is designed to recognize what’s beyond human power to change, and then to change the human’s attitude to be content with the inevitable.* : The truth is, Dreams Help Us Adjust in exactly the same way . . .

I Made The Train!

November 22nd 2006 00:57
Last night I was on a train....I made the train...

It was great you see, because I usually miss the train… actually I always miss the train in my dreams, but last night I was on the train… I had made the train… woo hoo. My guide tells me this morning, it's because I was paying attention to him… I finally obeyed… either way… I made the train…

In the Dream : there was a friend with me… we got off at a station to collect some sweets. The timetable in my hands revealed that all the station names were sweets : Liquorice Allstops, Toffee Creek, Freckle Lane, BubbleGum Avenue…

The train doors closed as we returned and whereas, in the past I have just seen the train glide off into the distance aware that my baggage was on board, ... enter associated anxiety and nightmare statues .... this time I heard myself say “no Way, not this time!” and I forced the doors open whilst the train was still going ... and slowly and made it back inside, I then helped my friend back on too..

Next stop : was a really ritzy function with celebrities and loads of music… but that’s another interpretation…

For now I’m only going to deal with dreams of journeys that involve transportation… today – specifically – Trains….which when seen in dreams are primarily representational of our attitudes towards social behaviour and relationships with other people... Mine are obviously shifting in some way...

A steam train appearing in a dream is a clear sign that outdated and obsolete behaviour needs to be re-considered and replaced.

A modern train [which was the one I was on last night] signifies speed and efficiency has some part to play in the interpretation... It suggests that we have successfully achieved a particular goal and circumstances have gone our way when we dream of actually catching the train.

For those of you still missing the train... but catching later ones... it means you are managing your inner resources better than before, but there's room for improvement... something is still exerting an influence of control over you...

For those still missing the train altogether (and I may still do so on other matters I suspect) - means that you are still trying to sort out your motivation... your intent... what is it?

Getting off the train before the destination means that the dreamer is afraid of success within a certain project...

Not a funky thought in my experience as the fear of success is as common as a fear of failure - and probably the two hardest fears to conquer in life...

Sweet dreams...

Lilla,

Miss the little butterfly.

Sweet dreams, sounds good,

Licorice Allstops, what am I? ...allsorts.

What a sweet dream, take me next time, forget about motivation you have a gift and you're using it, in spite of yourself.

These things are fascinating, I'm going to enjoy it while I'm still around.

Hi Katyzzz,

what can I add... except thanks for the motivation... we sisters try... yes... inspite of myself and years of negative programming...

you are an 'allsort' of the best kind... sometimes spicy, sometimes sweet, but never dull...maybe you can draw me a fantasy allsort from my dream... the stations had little orble-tags showing of their names...*lol*

I'm sorry you miss the butterfly, maybe I'll bring her back one day, but it's good for people to be able to associate too... it was time and I think this dream confirmed it.

Allsorts a pleasure my liquorice...

Hi Lilla,

I'm glad you 'made the train', and all those sweet stations too... whoooot!

I haven't dreamt of trains in a while (that i know of) but in the past when i have, it's been a runaway train, no brakes... i'm pretty sure i know what that means lol

Lilla,

I'm sorry you've had some negative programming. I seem to have escaped that one, not that I'm free of issues which everyone has but I do understand there are some negative programs that can rip out your heart and soul.

That's not permissible for my lovely Lilla, a new butterfly will emerge from the crysallis (?) I feel sure, stay tuned into your very special gifts they are serving you well.

Actually, I came back for a "good ? health kick from those lovely LOLs. Always watch for the ulterior motive.

I'll be up for dinner Friday night as usual, nothing like a freeloader, I'll generously bring 1 licorice allsort for each of the children, then invite them to share them with me.

I'm aiming for wealth, and there's nothing like a wealthy person who is incredibly mean. so I'm practicing.

I'm going on that train, I just love it.

Fantastic post, Lilla. Gets the dreamers thinking.

For me, it's always the airport, always catching or missing that plane.

How wonderful that you caught it.

I heard about another train dream, from someone involved with the Jungian Society of Brisbane. This man lost his young daughter shortly after she told him about her dream where she caught a train that no one else could take but her. She was only a child. Very powerful.

Thank you, Lilla.

Hey LaurenD,

...'that's really sad...about his daughter... *tears*

I will look at planes on my next post, because I too am always missing them too, I've only every managed to catch one in my dream life once! I've caught dozens and dozens in my waking life without the slightest hitch...*lol* I'm usually there in my room, wherever that is at the time, trying to pack more stuff into one bag than you can imagine...

Look forward to seeing you again...

Very sad, and yet very profound, and being involved with the Jungian Society, he was very willing to share that experience. I'll never forget it.

Your planes post sounds good, too. I look forward to it!
