Jewellery ~ seen in dreams represents the aspects of our personalities which we consider valuable. As such each piece of jewellery is often seen as a symbol of honour and self respect - without the usual vanity apparent in our waking world - but as symbols which we can use for building success in our waking lives.

This is especially true when precious gems are set in gold and silver, which magnifies the strengths of each gem set within them.

Each gem we are aware of in our dream, a shining part of our character, now needs to be understood and integrated into the overall look of our image. However, unlike our daily jewels, they are more than just image. The gems of our dreams are often the very nuggets of hard earned wisdom we have gained through experience and can now pass on easily to others, as precious gifts that we now have to offer.

Giving and Receiving Dream Jewellery - is also about our ability to give and receive love. It is necessary to be able to master both aspects in order for a mature relationship to blossom.

I've just realised that I can't remember any dreams with jewellery in it which is strange as I love it in real life. I have a million rings, necklaces etc, not of the diamond, posh kind, but the beady, stone kinds like amethyst and garnet.

I think you are talking about Rose Quartz - very good for generating love vibes and harmonious tranquility, all condusive for love to blossom.. I will talkabout it in the next installment.

Amethyst is the great healer dude.

Although, an amethyst surrounded by Rose Quartz can be far more awesome and gnarly for healing, than with diamonds... (which can cause a few bogus vibes to be generated if the dudets mood is off, dude..)... diamonds tend to amplify the mood, whilst Rose Quartz corrects it before sending out the awesome vibe, you know?

Awesome chicks are switched into this stuff by telepathic links to the 'rock people,' dude ... you know for working the good vibe using gold and silver can change destinies - Whoa... awesome stuff...

Your jewellery box sounds like mine *chuckle* some interesting pieces I bet... and as they say, pieces that 'found me,' rather than the other way round?

It is a strange thing but I relate to what you say about not dreaming of them ... then one day a huge chunk of Emerald appeared from an angel and ever since then, a whole new chapter of dreams was begun. It's been a revelatory journey of gems and jewellery all the way...

I know what you mean about pieces that have found you. I have one necklace that I found at a market in Cambridge on a day I was feeling low. It was two pounds and I love it. People always comment on it and are amazed when I tell them it was a second-hand bargain.

Even a customs woman stopped me when she saw it so that she could look closer at it (or maybe she thought I could stash some drugs in it). It causes quite a reaction.

There were no stones in my dreams last night, but I'll keep looking

I'm learning about crystal healing therapy and perhaps as a result, I dream of gems all the time and just the other night was given a huge piece of emerald. Night before last I was op-shopping again for some shabby-chic and found two beautiful silver bracelets (amulets) covered with exquisite turqouise inlays... then all these necklaces appeared and then earings, clothes and shoes... gosh I must be changing my whole persona... finding bits of myself everywhere I am *chuckle* and this time I had enough money to pay for it all!

I guess I can be considered more spiritually "financial" now then?

Glad it offers new dimensions for your own work.
