We all know who modern abstract art came about, basically through the invention of the camera. Artists were forced to come up with ways of dipicting reality in ways the camera couldn't... presto! the birth of a new reality.

As you all may also know we have a resident Orbleland Artist called Katyzzz, she travels around in vibrant hues of flashing yellow icons... and hosts a daily gallery of amazing images that stimulate the cerrebral cortex into new ways of thinking. A powerhouse of new thought resides within her cyber-musuem-walls and I cannot recommend it enough to you for a daily visit. For the very astute you may even see your words there... reflected in her Katyzzz colourz and designz....

I was stimulated into asking Katyzzz to start a post for dreamers like me. Had she ever translated any of her nightime landscapes into abstract... has anybody..? I keep a dream journal and a dream sketch pad and have managed to master some of my more bizarre images with colour and skill.... Hghhhm...

But can Katyzzz create art that will stimulate your dreamzzz...Can she capture her own?

Well, in short she has given it a go and you can visit her new Dreamscape Gallery and see for yourself.... Leave a painting of your dream... if you can...

Thanks so much, I didn't realize you wanted abstract art on dreams, I'll try for another one or two or more and put them up somewhere, somehow,....

How do you intend to proceed from here? not just in relation to me!

It seems this post is leading somewhere, or is it all a dream or nightmare?

There are some good websites on dreams and nightmares and I've been asked to collect some jokes along those themes, so far I've only found one.

I have a dream...

We all meet.
What will the colours of our individual auras (and our colourful language!) combine to create?

Hi Lovely Lilla...as you may remember, I don't have the ability to retain memory of my dreams.
I do know that I often dream of an amethyst 'cave'...not so much a cave but a cavern....furnished with fluffy white shag pile style carpet/rugs!!!
One side has windows and doors...but the other...is completely open. Do know this, it's not scary.
Not sure if this is an image taken from something I have read then built upon or something my mind conjured up.

I don't have yours nor katyzzz skill in being able to capture my dreams, in memory, on paper or with paint but at least I know that I dream in colour. That's a start!

I will come back...
