Buildings In Dreams - J-M

August 6th 2007 01:17
Jury/Juror - in a Courtroom - If you are being judged in a courtroom in any capacity, especially by a jury, you are being alerted to the fact that you are feeling subject to judgement in your real life.

This is particularly the case if you have done something you think is wrong and feel you may be responsible to it through bad karma.

It’s time to take an inventory of any irresponsible behaviour you are guilty of and correct it.

Laboratory – If you find yourself working in one, you need to take an objective assessment of what is going on in your life.

Do you need a more ordered, less emotional, ‘knee-jerk’ existence and approach to life?

Labyrinth – There is a need now to explore the hidden side to your personality in your waking life. Not easy, as you hide this side from yourself and it will take some courage to deal with it.

With its many twists and turns it represents the psychological challenge and experience of all obstacles in life which must impede us, in order for us to learn.

As such, spiritually, the labyrinth dream becomes a symbol a transitional stage between the physical and practical worlds, with a payload of a deeper understanding, of life and mankind, as its own reward.

Many trials and tribulations are met and overcome (or recognised) on the path the enlightenment. Each soul must undertake his or her own route, to the centre of their existence.

Library – This dream represents a visit to the storehouse of our life’s experiences. It shows us the wisdom and skills that we have accumulated, as well as the collective pool of wisdom and spiritual records of existence (known as the Akashic records), available to all humanity, and from which we can draw deeply for ourselves.

It is important to try and notice the title’s of books whilst here, as they will lend additional clues to your reasons for this dream.

A Well Ordered Library – suggests your ability to create order in your life using new information, daily.

A Chaotic, Untidy Library – suggests that you have difficulty in dealing with and integrating new information and suffer isolation as a consequence.

Lighthouse – Finding yourself inside a lighthouse is a warning that you are facing emotional difficulties. You must take time to develop a direct course of action to calmer waters and the achievement of your goals.

If you are on Land in the Lighthouse – you are being warned that these difficulties stem from your own emotions and not from external problems. Look to any habitual emotional cycles that may need discarding.

If you at Sea – you will need to be really careful because the misunderstandings are being created through ignoring the problems, by purposefully being over emotional.

Mansion – If it is resplendent, it can represent that a dream will soon be fulfilled.

If you live there (in the mansion)… then refer to House dreams for specifics.

Undercover Marketplaces – are about coping and dealing with everyday life. Dream markets represent our daily sharing and exchanging, giving and receiving; the trading of our various human attributes, skills and ideas.

Do you need to become more commercial in the work that you are doing, or do you need to ‘buy’ some more creative flair, and not be so mundane and commercial?[/I]

[B]If it is Bustling and Happy Marketplace –
you need to take more care of yourself by meeting and mixing with people more.

If it is Deserted – It is time to look at what you are doing to alienate people. Do you buy more than you sell?

Look to the types of products on sale here for further clues into this dreams meaning.

Memorials – This is a dream about past times, of memories ‘cast in stone.’ It is a time to come to terms with repressed memories, and move on.

If it is a Happy Memorial – then you are being reminded of happy times to help ‘get you through’ a rough patch.

If it is a Scary, or Miserable Memorial – then you are being encouraged to deal with and integrate the dark, sad, painful memories that haunt you, and move on.

A Sad Memorial is literally saying it’s time to - Build a bridge and get over it!

Mines – although not technically buildings, are man-made, and to dream of one, represents a need to bring to the ‘light of day,’ your hidden talents. It is time for you to grab your potential and push through your fears, to shine.

The best way to do this is to ‘mine,’ or learn from your emerging unconscious revelations.

Mortuary – You are at a point where you must consider your fears and feelings about death.

If you are Viewing a Dead Body – you have to consider a part of yourself that has died, or perhaps a defunct relationship?

If You Are The Body – You have induced a state of inertia into your life, which is robbing you of life and enjoyment. You must stir some movement in your waking life in order to move forward, now.

Museums – this is a dream about tradition. Old fashioned thoughts, ideas and concepts – often passed on from family members.

If Your Past is Housed in the Museum - you are reminded that whilst the past is often an interesting relic, which can be observed at some length, ultimately it needs to be, shelved, housed, and moved away from, in order to progress.

Dig the painting and the post Lilla!

Just last night I had a dream I was in a library sitting next to an old French looking man - with old jacket and beret - who was being asked to read from page 742. (We were reading 'The Voyage of the Arctic Tern' by Hugh Montgomery). Try as he might this man could not find the page and I kept having to lean over to help him but then would end up losing the page too. The guy up at the front was saying, 'Come on Page 742, page 742'.

I have this book and there is no page 742 but your numbers page has helped solve that one and now the bit about being in the library.

Thanks

ash

the artists paintings are excellent - thanks for the link!

my pleasure Ash,

...that is really good news... wow : Talk about sychronicity and great timing!

There you have it then, mystery solved and something new to work on?

..742 makes for an interesting pointer as to where the path should lead next, bravo!

Gosh, I feel so good when i know i have helped people ... going to dance a little jig now...*giggle*

Thanks so much for caring for yourself enough to notice ..and for the candid feedback.

*hugs*

Lilla ...

PS one more thing...have you tried reading pages 7, 74, 42, and 2 in the book itself? What are they about?

two thumbs up! crank up that music loud and clear!

I am yet to read this book... it`s actually a kids book but the story sounded so intriguing and is told as a long poem complete with the most beautiful sketches on each page that i couldn`t resist it. It is described as 'a cross between Watership Down and C.S. Lewis' (Richard Brooks, The Sunday Times).

I have read those pages - thanks! Although in completely different parts of the story it reveals a little story if its own... a new day dawning, finding lost treasure and eating toxic fruit as a child... hhhhmmmm, that`s a little scary!

what an intriguing dream... and when I look back on the ones that I have had over this past year and follow what`s going on in reality it`s a little overwhelming what messages are coming through!

thanks as always

Ash,

That is such brilliant feedback, thanks.

*lol*

Wow, *cue the twilight zone music*…

a new day dawning, finding lost treasure and eating toxic fruit as a child...

Powerful stuff!

Exotic fruit in dreams is about creativity and in light of your recent 'dillemma', I'd say it's about to be tested?

With love

Ash,

Ha ha! I am going blind... that says Toxic, not Exotic... could be a Freudian slip, I suppose? *chuckle*

/seriously/ my sweet, poison in dreams is quite different to exotic fruits... to be eating poison (or aware of it) indicates that there is an evil attitude, emotion or thought that can not be for our good. IF the poison is in the environment (as in the fruit) it indicates that this evil/bad thing is not only harmful to us now, but can also be bad for us in the future.

Ash, I woudl look very closely at the "temptation" that is put before you now, affecting your original long term plans. Is it a testing?
