Water Buffalo – in your dream-pond?
Time to face life head on.
It’s a must now if you want to reclaim your own power and avoid further tragedy in your life.
Placidly cooling herself in comfortable sacred water’s, water buffalo is a pacifist, but don’t let that fool you to the wild tempestuous nature she holds within. She faces life head on and tosses her enemies aside, determinedly leaving them behind her.
She surfaces in your dream to remind you it is time to move on, advising you that : tragedy and failure are intrinsic to living, but don’t be cowed by past events. It’s time to move on and allow the brave spirit in your soul, to be who you are … again.
Weasel – has an incredible amount of energy and ingenuity and to the Native American Indians this creature is the embodiment of stealth. Legends tell of how weasel was able to confound Great Spirit, pick Great Spirit’s pockets, and then leave Great Spirit contemplating the divine navel.
If he is happy, he counsels that you have great powers of observation and that you must always use them wisely.
If Weasel has scampered into your dream fields by stealth, in a cold light,or with gnashing teeth; beware because he is primarily saying : time to watch for intrigues. Someone around you may be using covert tactics to weasel into your hen house… or is that you?
Perhaps it’s time to lock your doors and dress your teenager like a nun?
Weasel is a difficult dream symbol to interpret because collectively his presence also inquires : have you been lying to yourself, lately?
Has this led you to start doubting your feelings of late and worse, second guessing what you know you are seeing? If you want the right situation, weasel says : start by shaking the dullness out of your head and observing the obvious. No one can fool you if you watch your step, honour your knowing and “seek the hidden reasons.”
Whale – a universal symbol, related to power and strength, throughout most cultures. Whale is also considered the repository and keeper of records. The Native Americans regard whales as a ‘swimming library,’ carrying the history of Mother Earth with them. Many cultures believe that whales were first placed here by the Ancients from the Dog Star, Sirius.
Whales that swim in your dream seas do so to remind you of the power of music and vibration as a means of healing. To tell you it’s time to reclaim your voice, to heal your soul. You must learn to hear your own voice : the cry of victory, the battle cry, the sobs of pain, the laughter of joy.
It is time to listen to the voices of others too, what are they really saying?
Whales are a common dream symbol within the psychic world of the clairaudient, often telepathic sensitives. Many times however, as people, we are not awakened to our gifts until it is time to use the stored records within us.
If a whale is lost, or beached itself on your dream-shore, it may be telling you that you are not following your sonar, or homing device. On some level you may have forgotten that you hold all the answers you need to survive, to grow, and to claim the power of your chosen destiny.
Time to still the chatter in your head, relax and meditate if you can… and remember, you must desire to know.
Seek the Whale song within you and you’ll know that good times are coming. Whale says : There is a great truth that you are now ready to accept.
Wolf – Another icon of a great teacher from the animal realms, wolf is perhaps the true symbol of the pathfinder, and forerunner of new ideas. The senses of the Wolf are very keen, and the Moon is its power ally, the symbol for psychic energy, the unconscious, and the secrets of knowledge and wisdom.
To have a Peaceful Wolf pad through your dream forest, is a precursor that you may be able to share your personal intuition with others now… and start experiencing a strong desire to share your knowledge with others, through writing and lecturing...information to help others grow.
If you are not doing this things and an angry Wolf appears to growl at you he is asking you to expand your limited view of the present situation. You must find the courage to look at new ideas, now.
The Native Americans believe that Wolf medicine says : The gift of wisdom comes to you when you have walked enough pathways and found enough dead ends to truly know the forest.
If you cannot move forward, or are bogged down with a stagnant viewpoint, A Howling Wolf says : seek teachers or pathfinders (often your inner voice) that can show you the way to new life experiences.
To live is to grow, and growing comes through accepting all life forms as your teachers. Become like wolf and take up your sense of adventure.

Dreams of zebras often reflect a sense of changeability in your waking life. You may see yourself as having two (or more) distinct identities that compete for predominance in your behaviour, morals and other life roles. This is especially true for people who struggle with workplaces that demand questionable ethical practices or for those who are unfaithful to others.

Thanks, that wraps it up and I hope you have enjoyed reading this series as much as I have in putting it together. Sorry for the delay in the last bit.. *drooping head*
Remember : Animals are powerful totems in our human world, and if you see an animal unexpectedly in the waking side of life, you may take it as a sign from Spirit, as well. Especially, if you see the same animal more than once within a short space of time ...
As always, if you have a dream, daydream or animal visitor that is still confusing you (or that I haven’t covered), post your query below : I am always happy to help you decipher it...

Small Thoughts on Big Questions
I never really dream about animals, though. Now, if you want to tell me why I always dream about driving or being back in college, I'm all ears

Ha, interesting I am about to do a whole series on vehicles next and why we drive them through our dreamscapes… so please stand by for that one… suffice to say quickly, that cars are all about how we’re viewing our own personal space.
Being in a car is usually alerting you to your own motivation, thus driving a car is often a sign of our need to achieve our goal.
You’re in good company, as cars are a big part of all of our dreams. I think we’ve all driven one from time to time.. I have certainly had my fair share of driving them off the bridge, or road, and into water mainly … btw water points to some emotional goal and a fear of my feelings overwhelming me.. it’s been a constant repeat in my life…
More later, as I said…
School’s and colleges have been covered and I’ll just copy/paste here what I said to someone on another post recently… I will be covering all types of buildings as this blog goes and I hope you tune and get more insight then, okay?
The fact that you cannot find the classroom, suggests that you may not even have established which old behaviour patterns are not serving you any more, and need to be gotten rid of.
Are your core familial beliefs and customs being challenged?
Being ‘in class’ in a dream, is indicative that you arel learning different ways of dealing with authority and your own feelings of inadequacy in dealing with it.
The fact that you are sometimes in the wrong class room, does indeed indicate that you don’t feel you will be able to find the right ‘information’ within yourself, to cope, and overcome the new learning curve your personality is undergoing (or to a successful graduation if you are currently studying).
The good news here is that the fact that you are having dreams about school, whilst ‘at school,’ meaning that you are also processing the new information at a subconscious and astral levels...
Being late for class in your dreams again points to you feeling that you are unprepared for something in your life to happen, again look at where fixed attitudes may now need to become flexible or abandoned completely.
It sounds to me that you have nothing to fear, but fear itself and that you will do fine… you are already on the case.
I would suggest you focus on ways of relaxing, like a guided meditation CD for 20 minutes each day, or take up Yoga once a week, re-connect with nature, daily.
Pay attemtion too to the other little details around these dreams and note the ambient symbology present, like what you're wearing, colours, the weather, grass or concrete grounds... they will offer clues as to the areas where you need to make the adjustments.
Generically, buildings in dreams represent the constructions we make in our lives out of our experiences, perceptions and often from our family habits and customs. Again, at school you are learning to cope 'out of the family' in new groups and not finding the buildings at all, can be a sign that you don't feel you have enough of a foundation from a solid family background to help you cope with this course of study you have undertaken.
We are more than our families conditioning and when you do find yourself in a dream class room, take very good notice of they type building it is, with it I will be able to reveal all sorts of additional information that you can use to help you move through the 'phase.
Thanks for reading, inquiring and commenting WInston, the feedback makes it all worthwile, and I hope it helps you...
Cheers,
Lilla …

..and thank you for that invaluable contribution. Jung was a special fellow, no doubts about it and I love reading his work. He certainly opened up Freud’s narrow perspective *chuckle*
You know, I was thinking about not having dreamt of a zebra in my entire life...may well mean I can finally rule out bi-polar disorder too …do you think? *lolol*
Again Mis, I really appreciate your support and input,
Thank you.

Flashes of memories
Great post - I love these... they`re so dreamy haha my brain is not fully functioning today forgive me!
For some reason I don`t get notifications of your new posts here ... will have to see if I can get that fixed!
I had a dream of whales a couple of weeks ago... in a boat surrounded by them off the shore of where I used to live in England and they were huge, but out of shape, almost like seals too. I have found the combined meaning of them very interesting!
~ponders aloud~ I love the poetry too. I am often amazed by how different cultures place so much importance on dreams and yet others totally disregard them.
Very excited about the upcoming vehicles meanings too - ~laughs~ I had a dream about that the other night also.
Is it normal to have so many dreams? It seems as though people I talk to only dream every so often yet I find that I remember my dreams most nights and in a lot of detail too.
Loved it as always
Thanks for sharing all this great info ~you should write a book on this too!~

Does geography have something to do with animals you dream of...
Would an aussie dream of Water Bufallo as often as Americans?
Would Americans picture Koala bears as frequently?
Just checking in.

Always nice to see you...
To answer your question?
I have no idea.
You would think so, but then again in the world of dreams anything goes... Maybe I could put the question to Orblers and see which animals they dream of most, then do a headcount for region?
Might prove interesting...?
thanks again, hope all's well...going to look for Donnie Darko post to comment..any ideas which month you ran it?
